What have you learned from your audience feedback?

Audience feedback is a really important part of creating my media product because it is good to get the views of what someone who might like the music and they may like the idea of my work that i have done. As the creator of the project, it is important to think of what the consumer may think of it more as it is going to be them purchasing the product.

I asked 2 of my classmates to look at my CDD and MMA.

Jake said that he really liked the idea of my digipack and thought that the conventions I used were really good. He also really liked the idea of the whole black and white aspect of the Digipack and thought that it went really well because of the genre of music. As a consumer Jake said that he will buy this album. When talking about the MMA he really liked it because he liked the idea how i kept the same colours as the CDD and it matched up really well with it.

Stephen also liked my digipack and felt that i did a really good job on it. Stephen pointed out the font in which i used and said that it works really well and doesn't look too over the top and stated it looks quite professional as well. Stephen also said that he would buy this album. Stephen liked my MMA and he also liked the colour scheme used because he stated that it suits the genre of music really well. He also likes the idea of the image of the artist that i have chosen is that it is simple but very effective as well. The images to the right is off my plan for both my CDD and MMA.

This image to the right is off my audience feedback and this was for my animatic in which they both really liked. But my final product did end up looking like the animatic and therefore I needed to make some slight adjustments in which i was able to do quite comfortably.

Below are my finished ancillary tasks and to the left we have my completed CD Digipack (CDD) and to the right hand side we have the completed Music Magazine Advertisement (MMA). Having researched into existing CDD and MMA's, it helped me quite a lot in terms of what I would like mine to include because it gave a really good idea as of what makes a good CDD and MMA therefore the researched I gathered helped me accomplish this.

Construction:Filming

My filming day was a good and bad day. The bad parts were that the clips i got were either too dark or too bright on premiere pro but the good parts were that i was able to improvise and make these clips black and white so it doesn't look like the clips were not the greatest. But on the camera the clips looked really good but when i put them in premiere pro they didn't look that good in the end and i was disappointed. But the good thing is, is that i have been able to complete this challenge.
The images below are the quality of some of the shots.

But with the help of the black and white filter, I was able to overcome this problem and the clips seemed to work really well with the filters on.

Construction:Editing

Once i was able to get all the footage i needed, it was then time to come to the editing stage in which at first i had difficulty with but then i was able to get on track and create a good music video.

This image on the right shows how many clips i have got imported into the sequence and wasnt happy with this clip because i don't think it was able to work well with what i wanted in my music video.

This image on the right is one of the shots which i have included and as you can see, the lighting of the one on the left doesn't seem too good and seems quite dark and dull whereas the one on the left seems to be a lot brighter, I was able to tackle this problem by putting a black and white effect onto it in which it made it look a lot better when Jake was walking by the wall.

These 2 images are what i did in order to make this shot a lot better, as you can see the shadow stands out a lot in the first one and doesn't look very professional, but with the help of adding the filter to make it black and white, it makes quite a difference, i also used this image for both my digipack and magazine advertisement.

This image is how i was able to get the black and white effect onto the clips, as you can see i needed to go into the video transition folder then the adjust folder and select the ProcAmp in which i had to drag onto the clip. When i go into the video settings, the images above show the menu which comes up and how i was able to change it.

This small image is me selecting the razor tool in order to cut one clip and use it as another.
