Research: Detailed Research Into Chosen Artist/Band

Imagine Dragons are a rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is made up of 4 members, those being:

Dan Reynolds - Lead vocalist
Wayne "Wing" Sermon - Guitarist
Ben McKee - Bassist
Daniel Platzman - Drummer


Imagine Dragons have their own website which consists of merchandise, tour dates and likes to their social media websites as well. Before the 4 members in the band, there have been 6 other members as well, those being Andrew Tolman, Brittany Tolman, Theresa Flamino, Dave Lemke, Andrew Beck and Aurora Florence. Imagine Dragons have been going on for 7 years now and they have had 10 members through out that time. According to billboard, Imagine Dragons topped the year-end rock rankings for 2013. Billboard named them the breakthrough band of 2013. They were referred to as the years biggest breakout band by MTV.

Streaming accolades

  • Imagine Dragons were the No. 4 most streamed artist (US) on Spotify in 2013 but had the No. 1 most streamed album and track in 2013.
  • Imagine Dragons were the No. 4 most shazammed artist (US) on Shazam in 2013 but the No. 1 most Shazammed rock artist of the year.
  • Imagine Dragons were the No. 6 most streamed artist (U.K.) in 2013 with only one American artist streaming more.
  • Imagine Dragons were the No. 13 most streamed artist of all time on Spotify as of November 2014.
  • Imagine Dragons were the No. 2 most streamed group globally on Spotify in 2014




Imagine Dragons are signed with KidinaKorner and Interscope Records and have released 2 albums with them, those being Night visions and Smoke And Mirrors. Smoke And Mirrors was released in 2015 whereas Night Visions was released in 2012.







Imagine Dragons' YouTube Channel has over 3 million subscribers. Their Facebook page has over 12 million likes.Whereas their Twitter has over 2.7 million followers.


Radioactive is Imagine Dragons' most viewed music video with over 300 millions views. Also below the Radioactive video, is a video of them being interviewed about them becoming more genre-less.

Research : Potential Artist and Album Choices

I need you to create a presentation for 3 potential album choices.

The rules for the presentation are as follows:
  • It must be 1 presentation that covers all 3 potential album choices.
  • It must be created using an online presentation tool such as Emaze or Prezi.
  • It must be embedded in your blog with the post title Research : 3 Potential Albums
For each potential album choice you need to include, in this order:
  • The name of the artist
  • A brief biography of the artist (including the genre of music they are most associated with)
  • The title of the album
  • The record label for the album
  • The release date of the album
  • The track list for the album 
  • The title of the track from the album you feel you could produce a music video for
  • An explanation of why you think this album / artist is a good potential choice for your coursework
